[updates 2013] its been a long i have been working on multiple blogs and this one issue “indexing and deindexing urls ” always remained there.
seeing the current trends and after grabbing lot of experience, today if you want google bots to index your posts fast, you have to frequently update your blog, these days google bots does not visit and crawl pages even if you do the settings from webmaster panel, the criteria has changed now and google bots seeing your frequency of posts, automatically decide when to crawl your site. So the more your publish content and keep the blog updated daily, higher are the chances of blog getting indexed quickly.
Well answer to this question depends on type of website you are having,type of content you publish and number of times you update your website.if you write quality content article daily , you are in higher side to get index rapidly,check once in a day how many times Google bots are crawling your articles.
Why i am sharing this to you is because,recently when i switched from one hosted server to another my website links got broken,though i would have rectified all my broken links via playing around with 404 redirect and .htaccess , numerous articles available which teaches you how one can repair broken links.
but my case was quite different,i was not getting much traffic on my old site and i wanted to restructure my website permalinks(one of the SEO techniques), so i didnt tried restoring broken links.
After restructuring the website links , i tried searching on Google how much time it takes to index my article again,but ended up with no exact time frame,so i decided to wait and started figuring around with SEO tactics . Finally i got success and here is the quick reference for buddy bloggers who are hurdling around with broken link problems.
- Google loves Quality Content,you can write article by doing keyword analysis so that you receive the search engine traffic in very short span of time.
- keep updating the website 2-3 times a day if you are suffering broken link problem.
- ensure that google bots and other major search engine bots are crawling your site regularly.
- submit your articles to social bookmarking websites and directories.
After you perform all this activity expected time google will again show your articles in google search is 2-3 days, as it happened in my case, but always remember “content is king” and google loves quality and meaningful content.
