Abstract

Current Circuit Manufacturing cost is high because of step by step chip level fabrication for which billion dollars are invested  in electronic industry, but in order to control cost reduction and manufacturing hassle alternative to silicon need to be defined which can reduce cost by fraction, shape,size,flexibility and production time. Polytronics – Plastic Circuits overcome such limitations and provide circuit production and up gradation at much lower cost  and because of its compactness and flexibility it can be rolled like a paper, Chemical Composition of plastics or conjugated polymers is changed by doping to make them conducting. Polymers polythiophenes, oligothiophenes and pentacene have conductive property.Fabrication of Microelectronic components on plastic substrates would allow manufacturer of gadgets through just printing process in near future.Instead of Building a device from bottom, Entire Product will come out of printer complete with electronic circuitry embedded in the product itself.

Electronic paper is nothing but a fine display which is capable of fetching news and other information source in flat display, the e-papers are as thin as printed newspaper and can be used to read newspapers and magazines, it is said that in coming future the printed newspaper will be replaced by electronic papers.

Plastic Batteries

While the scientists around the world are still working hard to bring alternative to metal batteries, the plastic batteries have already gained lot of popularity. The plastic batteries are said to be 100 times more powerful then alkaline batteries, the sector has yet to see many more innovations coming to the table. The automobile sector will be the first to utilize the benefit of plastic batteries by replacing traditional batteries.
