For example doing course in SAP from NIIT from Manali wont help, but doing course in SAP from NIIT from Banglore will add values, i hope you got what i wanted to explain. so lets begin here. Engineering education involves two types of training in its curriculam, a minor training and a major training, although much emphasis is given on major training because of its duration which starts from weeks to months(differs according to university/college). Industrial training provides student a real time exposure to the corporate world if done properly, most of the students try to skip this part finding it not so neccessary, but this is absolutely wrong, i have many examples in front of me of guys who have taken training seriously and that helped them to excel in professional life.
Industrial training not only add certificate to your resume folder, instead it gives you practical knowledge of tag “how things works in your choosen stream”. Moreover industrial training done from reputed institute/organization adds extra points to your profile, whenever you will be sitting for an interview.
Mind it, the only decision you have to make is “choosing perfect training institute”, while there are plenty of private coaching/insitutes which are offering several courses focusing engineering students in mind, but opting non reputed institute for training may leave you nowhere at end unlike they does not come in NIIT’s or Aptech categories.
