The need for people in the country has decreased, but the government is still encouraging international students to come and study and experience the life of the country while they are here. There are many colleges in the country that have courses that have been designed mainly for international students and these courses have internships, at least most of them do, and that presents an opportunity to the students to get understand the working style of the people of the country and also get a job, if they like.

The fee varies with the courses, and the international students are charged higher than the domestic ones. The cheapest university in Canada is the King’s University college that is situated in Alberta. The course offered here are priced cheaper than the ones in the other colleges.

Applying for a student VISA in Canada is not a difficult task. You need to first apply and be accepted by a college or university in Canada. Once you have done this, you need to show that you have the finance to undertake the course and one year of living in the country.
You then need to fill in the VISA form and send it along with the necessary documents and passport to the Canadian embassy. Your file will then be processed and you will get your VISA stamped on the passport within a month of your filing the application if everything is in place.
Now, that you have the list of Canadian universities and all the information that you need about the country, the system of education and what all it has to offer to international students, I’m sure that you will deliberate over the top ten universities in Canada before you fly out to some other country with not much information about it and suffer later on.
Coming back to the question with which I started this post “Is Canada good place for higher studies?”, well, the answer is definitely positive as you get a global exposure, a valid degree at the end of the course, experience while you are studying and most importantly, you get a chance to bag a job, by the end of the course.
The earnings are also higher and when the amount is converted in the Indian Rupee, the rate of earning is quite high, in fact higher than that of most other countries. Apart from this, it is easier to get permanent residentship in the country after working for a while in the country. This gives you a chance to settle in the country if you like it and once you become a citizen of the country you can reap the benefits that the government provides its people. In case you do not want to continue there, you can always get back and you will be preferred for jobs in your country as you have global exposure. This post article gives you more than enough reason to quit what you are doing right now and look for a course that interests you, in a decent college and get all the necessary documents that you require to fill in the VISA form and fly to Canada at the earliest and start a new and improve life once you are here.

but online tatkal ticket booking has became troublesome, IRCTC is just not able handle the traffic load and there system are incapable of solving the problem, i see frustrated users passing annoying remarks about IRCTC online Tatkal system, every then and now, not to forget it does not matter what bandwidth speed you carry, you will just end up with nothing during Tatkal peak hours.
So today what i am going to share is my personal experience that i have come across while booking Tatkal tickets online, at the same time it is to inform you all that i usually travel 3-4 times in month at distant places through Tatkal tickets, apart from festivals and occasion, my success rate with IRCTC Tatkal booking is high. May be the routes i choose to travel between has more number of trains as compared to other routes, so possibility of getting ticket high is accordingly justified. So if your route has large number of trains running, then your chances of getting tatkal ticket in any one out of them is high.
Let us discuss something about Tatkal tickets first,
Tatkal ticket is basically a facility from Indian railways for visitors who seek ticket booking on emergency basis. Tatkal Tickets are allowed to be booked one day in advance, so if you want to travel tomorrow, you have to get the tickets done today itself and that is also from 10.00 AM onwards. For example if the train is to depart from originating station on 16 November then tatkal booking will be allowed from 10.00 am onwards on 15 November .
Tickets one day in advance from the train originating station.
Tatkal Tickets online are booked as confirmed or waitlist depending upon the tatkal quota availability, which differs from train to train and station to station. Tatkal tickets booking is permitted to all classes except 1 AC. Tatkal Tickets are can be booked in (E Tickets) Format while you are not allowed to book I-Tickets in tatkal scheme.
Except 1 AC Class, All other class comes under tatkal scheme.
Many few of us know this, that only 4 people booking is allowed on tatkal e-ticket. Each ticket is charged accordingly.
Fare Caculation of tatkal tickets goes like this – 10% of basic fare for sleeper second class, while 30% of basic fare will be charged for all other classes, while minimum to maximum cut off is kept for short distance travelers.
The Tatkal Charges have been fixed as a percentage of fare at the rate of 10% of basic fare for second class and 30% of basic fare for all other classes subject to minimum and maximum as given in the table below:-
Most of the people are confused about cancellation procedure of tatkal tickets and refunding schema, while it is very clearly mentioned on terms and condition of railway site that :
No Refund will be made for confirmed Tatkal tickets, while the Wait list tickets if not confirmed/cancelled are refunded as per existing railway rules.
While booking tatkal tickets it has been made mandatory to put details of each and every passenger including ID Proof number, in case you want to cancel any member’s ticket, you can simply apply for cancellation online which will be reflected in new ERS/VRM immediately.
Upon not showing any ID Proof for tatkal tickets while traveling, the whole booking is considered to be as no booking, and you will be charged heavy fine which is comprises of normal ticket fare + Fine and no relaxation will be given for the current tatkal ticket.
why negative 48 volt power supply in telecommunication equipment?
May 19th, 2012Yes, you might have heard about this paradigm many times, a -48v supply to any equipment, specifically a telecommunication equipment, which is all set to work at -48v only. If the question ” why -48v” moreover ” why negative” ever scratched your head, then you landed here on the right place. Today i am going to tell you why -48v standard rating is chosen for equipment, at the same time i will also elaborate the basic concept behind “negative voltage” so here we go.
You must have read in your engineering course, the DC (direct current) does not generate noise on the line and can be easily generated from regular lead acid batteries which are generally used in vehicles.
1) Low Voltage are safer for telecom technicians and service personnel.
2) 48v is just enough n efficient for transmitting power through telephone lines to a long distance.
3) A negative line voltage helps to reduce the corrosion from electro chemical reactions occurring on a wet telephone line.
Now you have learned technicality behind -48v supply, go and Bragg with the world. let us know if you have any other answer to share for this.
The utility and power has always been the critical aspect in telecommunication network, while power failure contributes the majority of outage in network, you really can control power outages if you do not have strong power backup. Although the developed countries does not face any power related failures in telecommunication network, but for countries like India, the power plays important role.
The BTS site has power backup of as long as 12 hrs which can be extended to anything depending upon the fuel availability via Generators. The power consumption by various telecommunication equipment’s contributes to overall load, More are the number of connected equipment’s more would be the power consumption and less will be the power backup.
One of the major pitfall that is observed in telecommunication field is, during power failure, the Indoor Air conditioners are powered off, due to which equipment gets heated and contribute to network outage, this also degrades the performance of equipment in longer run.
Telecom operators are in verge to find alternatives to power backup, recently operators in India deployed solar panels on BTS sites to fulfill backup needs, Solar Panels being costly can be only deployed on hub sites where dependency of network is huge.
Transmission equipment’s are configured to operate at lower voltage in order to ensure high network uptime, LVLD are the settings that are done to avoid network failures by shutting non critical devices during power failure, which saves the power which is then utilized for transmission equiments.
So, you might have already got basic idea about how telecommunication power system works and role of -48v, if you are working in telecommunication sector, it is one of the important question that is asked in every interview. We will try to cover more interview questions in detail, to clear your basics for which we will be also seeking your inputs. All you need to do is place your queries and we will digg deep to get you the answer.
How to join Indian Army
May 17th, 2012Being a part of the Indian Army and serving the nation is one of the most prestigious and respectable careers that you can choose for yourself. The exposure that they provide you at the Indian Army is unmatched but to get into the Army is not everyone’s cup of tea as they only want the creme de la crème when it comes to physical and mental fitness and they do not settle for anything below that. If you see yourself as one of them and are interested in knowing how to join the Indian Army, then here is all the information that you need.
What you need to have, in case you want to join the Army
As I mentioned before, the Indian Army is known to select the very best and they make no bones about it. They are not looking for anyone who is mediocre. They want the very best and promise to train them in a holistic manner that will not just be beneficial from the career point of view, but also, on the personal development front.
The Indian Army aspirants must be focused on their goal and know that the path that they have chosen is not easy and the obstacles that they encounter are far more arduous than that in any other career, but the ultimate fruit is also sweeter.
There are two ways to get into the India Army I have made a mention of both of them for you.
Joining the Indian Army soon after Higher Secondary
This is the first way for you to get into the Indian Army. You can be a part of it soon after you have completed your Higher Secondary but there are certain pre-requisites that need to be fulfilled so that you get admission into the National Defense Academy. There is an examination that you will have to clear to get into this Academy and this examination is conducted by the UPSC twice a year.
There is a permanent and a short service commission that is present and in case you are looking for the permanent commission, then you need to join the NDA. There are certain criteria that you need to fulfill to get selected for this Academy, they have been mentioned below.
You also have a chance to enter into the Indian Military Academy right after Higher Secondary in case you belong to the 10+2 Tech Entry group.
Criteria for entering the National Defense Academy
Soon after you have given your Higher Secondary exams you are eligible to appear for the NDA exam. In case you clear the written exam you will have to attend a 5 day Service Selection Interview in which, if you are selected, you will qualify for the next round that entails a series of medical tests. Once you have cleared the tests, you are all set to enter the National Defense Academy for a graduation course like none other as this ensures that your don’t just put your mind to work, but also your body and thus, at the end of the course you come out as a thorough man.
Short Service Commission
In case of the short service commission you get to be a part of the Indian Army for a stipulated period of 10 years that can be extended up to 14 years, after which you will have to retire or go in for the permanent commission. Again there is an exam that you will need to appear for, after which you will get admission in the Officers Training Academy. This exam consists of an SSB interview followed by a series of medical tests.
Joining the Indian Army after Engineering
In case you have missed out on joining the Indian Army after your Higher Secondary you still have a chance to do so after you have completed your engineering. You have to apply in the Academy in your pre-final or final year of Engineering and you need to first see that the branch of study that you are in presently, is a part of the list that has been issued by the IMA. The admission that you get will be under the University Entry Scheme of the IMA and the icing on the cake is that there are no written examinations that you will have to appear for, in case you are seeking an admission in the IMA. The course duration is one year.
So, now that you know how to join the Indian Army and if you see yourself as someone who can serve the nation and feel proud while doing so, then the Indian Army is ready to welcome you with open arms.
Top 5 best External Hard Disk Drive
May 4th, 2012Having an external hard disk to support the hard disk that your system houses is imperative and that is because there is a whole of data that needs to be stored and your internal hard disk and you may just fall short of space. But with an external hard disk, you can have all your data stored in one place and you just need to carry it around and connect it to any system and “Poof”, all your data is available on that system. Here are the top 5 best external hard disk drive.
Western Digital WDBACX0010BBK
This hard drive will make the creation of the backup of all your data really easy as fast as well. You also have the option of formatting the entire hard disk and then use it as a support drive for the internal hard disk. It has a capacity of 1TB and that is more than enough for you to store all your movies, songs, pictures, documents etc. Also, the drive only makes use of the USB for power and that adds to its portability.
Freecom – TOUGH DRIVE 3.0 1TB
The name of this external hard drive gives out almost all the information that you would want about it. If you are intrigued about the name, as in the “Tough” part, it just means that the hard drive is rugged and it can withstand a fall of upto 2mts. It has a storage capacity of 1 TB and that is lot of space for you. What you do not get from the name is that it has the USB3.0 integration and thus, the data transfer is lightning fast and creating backup is a child’s play.
Freecom Mobile Drive Mg – 500GB for Apple
This external hard disk drive has a capacity that is lesser than the ones that I have mentioned above and it has been designed only for Apple devices, thus it has a sleek design that will enhance the look of your device. It has an inbuilt USB3.0 port and thus data transfer takes place in a matter of seconds and the best part is that the port is downwards compatible which means that it can be connected to a USB2.0 port with a USB cable and it will work just fine.
Kingston Digital HyperX SSD
This solid state drive is one that will be liked by those who do not really need one that has a lot of storage space as they do not have a lot of data to store. The drive comes in 90GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB variants. There is an upgradation kit, a screwdriver and cloning software that comes bundled along with the drive and it is powered by a SandForce SF-2281 processor. Also, it has the USB power connection and does not drain the system of charge when in use.
Transcend Store Jet 25H2
This hard drive from Transcend can store data upto 1TB and is pretty efficient. It has the USB2.0 integration and that is the only discouraging factor of the drive. There is a power saving mode that is present and that lasts for 10 minutes, which is more than enough time for transferring data. The device is protected by a solid encasing and thus it is safe from shocks and jerks. The best part is that it does not require any driver installation unlike most external solid state drivers.
Now that you know the top 5 best external hard disk drives, you need to set out and get the one that will fulfill your needs. If you are having second thoughts because of the price, you can surf the net for these devices and you’ll get a good deal, rest assured.
The Power of Macros in ABAP SAP
August 22nd, 2011SAP ABAP leverages various modularization techniques, each having its own pros and cons. These techniques can provide us with local access from a particular program such as form routines and macros or may also have global access, such as function modules or include programs. There are various modularization techniques available in ABAP and one of them is using MACROS. So broadly speaking macros are small piece of code which can be used several times in the program.
The macros is defined between DEFINE and END-OF-DEFINITION.
For eg:
DEFINE macro_name. “Macro Definition
……………. Statements
……………. Statements
…………………
END-OF-DEFINITION. “Macro Definition
The body of the macro i.e. the statements between the DEFINE and END-OF-DEFINITION gets executed each time the macro is called.
Example1:
*–Macros for Message Logging
DEFINE log_message.
perform f_log_message using &1 &2 &3 &4.
END-OF-DEFINITION.Here the name of the Macro is log_message. Inside this Macro a subroutine f_log_message is called with 4 parameters.
*&———————————————————————*
*& Form F_LOG_MESSAGE
*&———————————————————————*
* Update Log message into the Log table
*———————————————————————-*
* –>P_&1 text
* –>P_&2 text
* –>P_&3 text
* –>P_&4 text
*———————————————————————-*
FORM f_log_message USING p_1 TYPE any ” Record Number
p_2 TYPE c ” Message type
p_3 TYPE t_data ” Employee Data
p_4 TYPE c ” Message Textls_log-recno = p_1. “Record Number
ls_log-msgty = p_2. “Message Type
ls_log-emp_data = p_3. ” Employee Data.
ls_log-msg_txt = p_3-ssn. ” Message Text
*–Inserting record in log table
Append ls_log to gt_log.
ENDFORM. ” F_LOG_MESSAGE
*&———————————————————————*Calling Macros in the program:
Here the macro log_message is called with 4 parameters ls_count, ‘E’, lw_employee-name and Lv_error_txt.
IF sy-subrc <> 0.
Lv_error_txt = ‘Record skipped due to errors’(001).
log_message ls_count ‘E’ lw_employee-name Lv_error_txt.
ENDIF.
Note: Macros are almost ten times faster than forms routines.
