- There is a 5% reservation for ex-servicemen, 30% reservation for women and certain amount for the SC/STs and the OBCs as well. This reservation is present in each district of Tamil Nadu.
- Also, there is a reservation for the handicapped as well, but they have to furnish a certificate stating that their handicap will not come in the way of their work, in case they are sent an appointment letter by the Commission.
- It is imperative that the person who is appointed deposits a sum of Rs.2000 within one month of the date of appointment. In case the person who has been appointed belongs to the reserved classes he/she has to deposit a sum of Rs.1000 in the form of cash security.

January 20th, 2013Indian School of Business (ISB) need no introduction, one of the prominent place to earn MBA degree in India, Recently Finance Minister Chidambarm Inaugurated Indian School of Business (ISB) Mohali Campus. Although the Campus was already functioning since April 2012 and the first batch for One year Post Graduate Program (PGP) has got 197 students enrolled successfully which are going to complete the program in year 2013. Along with P Chidambaram, Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Dadal shown their presence during the occasion. ISB Board Chairmen Mr. Adi Godrej said - “We are glad to announce our second campus which will produce future managers specialized in Public Policy, Healthcare , Manufacturing and Infrastructure. The main focus will be on research areas and there will not be any separate exam for admission to the program.
With opening of new campus the number of seats has increased to 770, now aspiring students will get better chance to study under same brand in any of the two campuses. The Student will have to fill in the option while applying for program regarding the choice of campuses and admission committee will allot the same depending upon certain parameters like GMAT Score, Ranking etc.
